瑤柱蒸水蛋 / Steamed egg with dried scallops
Can't remember the last time when i made this dish, so I searched some tips from the internet. The tricks are, egg to water ratio is 1 : 1.5, and to use another plate to cover the egg during steaming. See it is so perfect. I can't believe it!!! the best steamed egg i ever done!!!

Pan fried plaice, served with portobello mushrooms, red peppers and onions pasta in Philadelphia cheese sauce
Watched TV ad many times about using Philadelphia Cheese to cook with pasta, so I have tried it finally. Not bad. A very easy way to have a cheesy creamy sauce!!!
The pan fried plaice is lovely too.
Lemon pound cake
This is a lemon drizzle cake but without the syrup. My second try but still not good. It is a bit undercooked :-S
Roast beef dinner for cousin pong

叉燒 / Char siu
I have bought a very nice pork fillet and thinking it must be perfect for making char siu.
with 3 sp of char siu sauce + 2 sp wine + 1 sp dark soy sauce, i marinated this pork fillet overnite and have it roasted and glazed with a layer of honey.
once done, i realised the pork fillet is soooo lean, with no fat at all!!!!!
i should buy fatty pork chop next time. anyway, it is worth for try, a health eating for mr chen.
Lemon drizzle cake
I made this lemon drizzle cake from the recipe here
http://colehillkitchen.blogspot.com/2010/06/super-moist-lemon-drizzle-cake.html
my first time to bake a cake in a loaf tin and i love it
with weeks of attempts to find poppy seeds in all supermarket but failed, i used hazelnuts instead. u can see the top bits are hazelnuts.
the cake is moist and lemony. very refreshing to enjoy in summer days now!!
