My first homemade lasagne

It is based on both Gordon Ramsey's and Rachel Allen's recipes, why I am using two recipes??
It is just because of my laziness of sourcing all the required ingredients. So I was kind of following the parts that I can do and ignore the bits that I can't do. U know it is difficult to source all the herbs sometimes and I don't usually have wines in the house :-p  and most importantly, I don't like to use whatever chicken stock or beef stock because they are all artificial.


Anyway it was a success, very yummy!
Thick cheesy white sauce + a little bit salty bolognese sauce.
I will do better next time!

干炒牛河 / Fried beef hofan

無論牛或羊, 英國超市通常只有廋肉賣, 我意思是他們的牛或羊都是超廋,
今日居然俾我看到一盒雪花西冷, 即買!


今晚用了雪花西冷做了干炒牛河, 原味牛肉(i.e. 不),用了老抽生抽糖盐加一点点麻油去炒,但是味道还是不太好, 缺少了甚么呢?

麻婆豆腐蝦 / Mapo tofu with prawns

用了李錦記麻婆豆腐醬 (在英国唯一的選擇);
想起在北京吃麻婆豆腐是有豆豉的, 所以加了一些豆豉;
在SeeWo買的蝦很好, 有红色的蝦膏;
加一些啊媽買的冬茹;
完完整整的豆腐, 不用打"現", 原汁原味, 今次做得很好.

Cod and Corn Chowder

Based on Jamie Oliver's 30 minute cook book, but I used Cod instead of Haddock, and I added home made croutons :-)
