Grilled Lamb cutlets

Was in Waitrose yesterday thinking to buy lamb chops for dinner.
And I notice there are lamb chops, lamb cutlets and lamb shoulder loin.
Lamb shoulder is from a different section of the lamb so they are just a piece of meat, no bones.
But for lamb cutlets and lamb chops, they look similar.  Except lamb cutlets got a nice piece of fat along the side of the meat but lamb chops are mostly very lean.

So, in order to please Mr Chen, certainly lamb cutlets are selected.  They taste really good.  Waitrose's meat is the best!!!

with 2 bulbs of garlic, 2 chillies, Chinese mushrooms and pork ribs, splash of light and dark soy sauce, salts and peppers!!!

Scones, my first try.

the shape of my scone is a bit weird coz i didn't use a round cutter but I rolled the dough in a long strip shape and cut them with a knife :-p

i will do these scones again.  very easy and i like them coz i dont need to put in a lot of sugar.  i remembered when i making muffin and the recipe actually says i need more sugar than flour.  very scary.

ok, next step is to buy a round cutter  :-)

see the big crack on my cheese cake!!!
even the sour cream can't be used to covered it
i used the cheese cake recipe on BBC good food.
it tastes ok, very creamy, too creamy that i wonder if it has been cooked thoroughly
i need to find another recipe, i like solid cheese cake more.

Frying courgettes and fish cakes together, adding salt, sugar and sesame oil, very nice.
